Yee-Haw! The Rodeo is Here

Is this the biggest "cooker" you have ever seen? The whole thing didn't even fit in the picture. There was room for three more cookers at the end!

Someone liked the food! This was the "free BBQ lunch" that was included with your admission to the World Champion BBQ cook off. Daddy gave up beef for Lent so he had to get a sausage later in the day. (Oh, and Maya got a GIANT corn dog-it cost $8.00 I'll let your imagination tell you how big it was-huge!) They had beef brisket sandwiches, baked beans, and potato chips-it was really good.

Maya and Mommy. Yes, that is me with a turtleneck sweater and a leather coat-the high was only 60 degrees-that is freezing when the wind blows (to me now). My how you adapt to your climate. Two years ago I would have been in shorts if it was going to be in the 60's.
