Blissful Summer

Just a cute summer picture I thought I would share.

I am hoping the next (last) two weeks before school starts are truly "Blissful".  That is what the background is titled, so I thought it was a good choice.  Today we picked up Adam, Maya's little friend, and went to go see Despicable Me (which was SOOO funny) at a new movie theater.  Then, after that we headed to our all time favorite place to eat Chick-Fil-A for lunch and playtime before taking Adam back home.  Logan had a little trouble letting Maya and Adam play, he wanted to be right in the middle of everything (imagine that). But overall everything went great.  We finished off with ice cream-perfect on this HOT, HOT day.  Maya opted to go to a movie and lunch instead of a birthday party this year.  Logan on the other hand, who has not really been too into his birthday already has his ENTIRE party planned and keeps telling me that if I don't _______ (whatever he wants at the moment) he won't invite me to his birthday.  I think he has no idea that if I'm not invited, there is no party (even though I have told him at least 10 times already).  It should be an interesting 6 weeks!

At least I don't have any school shopping to do, both kids have their back packs, lunch boxes, and enough clothes for the year already, so the only thing we will need to get is shoes when their cute little tootsies grow.
