Every month we give a gift to the kids' teachers, just a little something to let them know how much we love them. For September we gave them little coffee cups with their names and chocolate raisins inside. For October we made these adorable little candy corn pots, filled with what else? candy corn! It was quite a project because Maya has 5 (yes 5-two on T/Th and 4 on M/W/F one works all five days) teachers Ms.
Karri, Ms. Jackie, Ms. Cindy, Ms. Jennifer, and Ms. Amanda and Logan has 2 Ms. Tiffany and Ms. Stefanie.
They are "rose pots" from
Michaels and we pained them with acrylic paint. Then made little
cellophane bundles tied with ribbon (you can't really tell, but the
cellophane has Halloween decorations). We stamped a
cornucopia with white ink onto a burnt-orange (of course) card and wrote
Happy Fall Love,-------. Now if we can get them to school without breaking them we'll be set. I think for November we'll be baking Pumpkin Bread-that is Maya's favorite year round.
