Logan in the snow (December 2009) We got out from school early because it was snowing and everyone started to worry about getting home, especially going over bridges. We came home and played outside.
Maya playing in the snow.
Logan trying the violin at the Houston Symphony Family series, we go every couple of months to hear different themed symphonies for children, then the kids get a chance to "pet the instruments". They really enjoy it!
Maya playing the violin. (Hmmm...I played the violin when I was younger, maybe they will like it too?)
Other changes happening around here...where do I start?
Maya had her last riding lesson on Saturday. She wants to take a break for a while and maybe try something different. I think she really hasn't enjoyed it like she did before this past month and asked to take some time off. I thought she might change her mind, but she hasn't. She said maybe she'd like to try tap dancing.
Logan was sick last week and is feeling much better, I was home with him for 2 days (I am so sorry that he was sick, but on the bright side it was nice to be home with him-especially the afternoon of the second day because he was feeling so much better.) He still has a bit of a cough, but that doesn't slow him down AT ALL.
My car is on its last breath, in fact the shop said we have days of use left, not weeks or months, DAYS. So rather than spend $8,000 (seriously) to fix it we got a new (to me) car yesterday. I'll have pictures on Tuesday when we go pick it up. Thank you to Kristin and Tiffany for answering some questions I had!
We have made some decisions about next school year as well, but I'll go into more detail at a later date.
Grandma has a personal trainer, Eddie Washington (a former Raider-can you believe it!?!) and she is starting "Beginner Boot Camp" on Tuesdays and Thursdays at her apartment fitness club. So far he has told her no coffee-caffeine and and no sugar, I am going to join her on this one, so if I seem crabby that is probably why, I am sorry in advance :-).
I have bee reading some books on anti-aging medicine (specifically Breakthrough and Ageless by Suzanne Somers) and will have an appointment soon to get my hormones checked. I am listening to my wonderful mother in law, Olga, especially in regards to my thyroid. There is something going on with me, but I am not sure what so I will seek professional advice on this one!

Great pics! Can't wait to see your new ride. Good luck to your mom on the boot camp. See you figured out the LinkWithin.
Yes, Thank you for telling me about it Tracy!
Thanks for the update! It is a good thing that blogs exist, or I would never know what is happening in anyone's life. Keep them coming!
