Yum! COOKIES

Maya and I made cookies on Sunday. Jeff was going to take Maya golfing on Saturday and we ran out of time because the kids took a really long nap and Jeff and I were going to the Kenny G concert-which was SO wonderful-more later. Anyway, he told her he would take her on Sunday instead, before the birthday party we (the kids and I-he was off the hook to go play golf) had to go to at 2:00. Well, we went for a walk around the neighborhood and when we got back Logan went to his nap. I heard Jeff on the phone making golf plans with his buddies and Maya asked me if Daddy was taking her golfing now. Um...I quietly asked him if he was taking her first or what time he was going, etc. and he was going to meet his buddies in too short of a time, so when Maya asked if we could make cookies I made her choose golfing or cookies (pretty nice wife I am huh?) Obviously she picked cookies and wasn't disappointed that Daddy was golfing without her-everybody wins-even the teachers at school because we gave them all the cookies!
