Well, the "Tropical Storm" has arrived, and a bit northeast of where it was expected, which means it is right on top of us. I took this picture from the front porch, not sure if you can tell, but the rain is coming down sideways and the water is flowing down the street with the wind gusts. I'm sure glad we live in a new area with "lakes" (they are really retention ponds). It is supposed to last all day so we will be home hanging out and seeing what kind of trouble we can get into. Personally I love the rain, due to my being from Oregon and all, so I am happy (especially since it doesn't happen all that often and I don't get sick and tired of the rain-all day, every day). Just wanted to let everyone know what was happening and that all is well.
