San Diego (3) Legoland

We visited Legoland for the first time on this trip-we will be back. We had so much fun. They did a great job of having entertainment for the kids while we waited in the lines to get onto some of the rides. Both kids got to go on most of the rides which was wonderful. There were even some that they could ride alone which was even better! If you are going to be near Carlsbad, California and you have a child under the age of about 12-go to Legoland. It was amazing to see all of the things they have made out of Legos. When asked what their favorite part of Legoland was here is each response:
Logan: "Seeing all of the stuff made out of Legos, seeing the buffalo, and the wallaby, too, and the horse, and the horse, and the dragon and everything."
Maya: "Riding the roller coaster with Daddy." (This was "a big kid ride" that went too fast for Logan's age group. I wasn't so sure Maya was going to like it, as cautious as she is most of the time-except when riding a horse, I was wrong! She loved it.)

*Notice that the kids are wearing sweaters in the morning when we arrived-aaahhhh such beautiful weather in San Diego!
