We were in Oregon for the 4
th! (More from our trip later) So, we hope you had a very happy 4
th. We did. Maya and Logan in our hotel room in their Patriotic outfits. When I gave Daddy the shirt for Logan he asked if I got him one, which I usually do and -of course-didn't this year.
Oh wee, there is always next year. Maya's outfit is from her friend Bailey (thanks Tracy for passing all the cute stuff on to us!!!) Maya is holding her "Roxy". My Dad also has a "Roxy" (his is a real, live Boston Terrier (right Dad?)). Dad and Pam gave Maya her Roxy on one of his visits and so of course Maya had to take Roxy to meet Roxy. The toy barks and wags its tail when the batteries are good, so since the batteries needed changing I asked Maya if she wanted me to change them before we left. Her response was SO cute. "No, Mommy, if you change the batteries then my Roxy will scare the real Roxy and she'll bark, bark, bark! Just leave her alone." They think of everything, don't they?
